Nomthandazo Chule has been appointed Partner at EY, promoted from the position of Associate Director which she held since since March 2022. Her journey at EY began as a Manager in November 2018 and her exceptional performance and leadership skills quickly propelled her to the position of Senior Manager by October 2020.

Before her significant contributions at EY, Nomthandazo served as a Financial Business Partner at Compass Group in Johannesburg. Although her tenure was brief, lasting from June to September 2018, she made a notable impact by providing critical financial insights and fostering strong business relationships. This role further honed her skills in financial management and strategic business partnering.

Her career foundation was built at KPMG South Africa, where she spent over four years in various roles. Starting as a CA Trainee in January 2014, she progressed to Audit Supervisor and then Manager. Her responsibilities included overseeing audit processes, managing client relationships across consumer markets and technology industries, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and IFRS for SMEs. Her brief stint as a Senior Associate at KPMG US in the Greater Philadelphia Area added an international dimension to her expertise.

Throughout her career, Nomthandazo has cultivated a diverse skill set that includes financial auditing, business analysis, strategic planning, and compliance management. Her proficiency in IFRS, financial reporting, and business partnering has been instrumental in her success. Her analytical skills, coupled with her ability to manage and lead teams, have positioned her as a formidable force in the accountancy profession.

She is a graduate of Wits University where she obtained a Bachelor of Accounting Science in 2012 and a Higher Diploma in Accountancy a year later.
